WillAgent is committed to transparency. This page provides important disclosures about our company, services, business relationships, and limitations. Please read these disclosures carefully before using our services.
Legal Entity: Will Agent, Inc.
Business Type: Document preparation software company
Headquarters: 1111B S Governors Ave STE 40462, Dover, DE 19904
Email: support@mywillagent.com
WillAgent provides document preparation software that helps users create estate planning documents. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice, legal services, or legal representation.
IMPORTANT: WillAgent is a document preparation service, NOT a law firm.
If you have questions about whether our documents are appropriate for your situation, please consult with a licensed attorney in your state.
WillAgent generates documents exclusively for residents of Florida. Our electronic will product is built for the Florida Electronic Wills statute (§732.521). Expansion to additional states that permit electronic wills is under evaluation; no specific commitments at this time.
Important: Our documents are designed specifically for Florida. If you reside in a different state, our documents may not comply with your state's legal requirements. Please do not use our service if you reside outside of Florida.
Florida law treats an electronic will as a specific category of instrument under Chapter 732, Part IV, Florida Statutes (including §§732.521-732.525). Not every document you prepare through WillAgent is an electronic will. Other instruments in a typical Florida package (for example, certain powers of attorney or advance directives) may follow different execution and custody rules.
When your order includes a Florida electronic will, statutory qualified custodian duties for the electronic will record are performed by WillAgent Custody FL, LLC, as summarized on our Qualified Custodian overview. Will Agent, Inc. operates the Service; it is not a law firm and does not provide individualized legal advice. Contractual terms for custody and transfers appear in our Terms of Service (including the Qualified Custodian and Electronic Will Classification sections and refund Scenario D for §732.524(10) transfer requests).
Plain-language takeaway: marketing references to "documents" or "storage" may describe multiple file types. Statutory qualified custodian retention under §732.524 applies to the electronic will as defined in your finalized package and order materials, not necessarily to every ancillary PDF in the same workflow. Read your order confirmation and vault labels, and ask a Florida-licensed attorney if you need help interpreting how a specific instrument is classified.
